Dairy Innovation Centre Continues
To Innovate
Since the major renovation of the Britespan Dairy Innovation
Centre (DIC) in 2009, the amount of innovative products
operating in the barn continues to rise. Last year saw the addition
of fully operational feeding systems from both Lely and DeLaval.
Catch the latest dairy technology up close and in action at the DIC.
Farmers can experience DeLaval’s integrated robotic solutions
including robotic milking, automated feeding, cow health monitoring
and body condition scoring camera. On the other side of the DIC,
Lely will demonstrate the Astronaut A4 Robotic Milking System and
LelyVector.This fully operational Automatic Feeding System will be
mixing and distributing feed to the Lely herd throughout the entire
show.
It doesn’t stop there. The DIC also highlights the latest
innovations in dairy production from many other companies as
well. Farmers can get hands-on with products on display from
BriteSpan Building Systems, Lely, DeLaval,Agrilight, Shur-Gain,
Faromor, FCC, Kubota, Dow Seeds, Norwell Dairy Systems,
Ontario Dairy Farmer magazine, Promat, Stubbe’s Precast Supreme
Mixer/Brodie Ag andWalker Dairy.
