Grober Refreshes Their Centre
T
his summer will prove to be an exciting time at the GYADC
according to Grober Nutrition.The Grober Young Animal
Development Centre is being refreshed and will be ready to
welcome farmers come September.
Since the GYADC closed its doors last year the team at Grober
Nutrition has brought in construction crews to refresh the Centre’s
layout and offering. Once summer began, the GYADC team’s next
step was facilitating the arrival of 60 lambs and 100 calves.The
GYADC research teams are conducting a number of trials on calf
management styles, lamb and calf nutrition. In addition, they have
included the Calf Rail by Förster Technik to feed some calves.
The trials held at the GYADC each year have allowed
Grober Nutrition to test new products, refine management
recommendations and experiment with innovations in feeding and
housing technology. During the three days of Canada’s Outdoor
Farm Show, Grober Nutrition will have exhibits of lambs and calves,
showcase trial results and demonstrate the Calf Rail during each
day of the show.
The Grober Young Animal Development Centre is easy to find
right beside the Britespan Dairy Innovation Centre along Masonville
