Northumberland County farmer to head Ontario Cattlemen's Wednesday, February 29, 2012 by DAVE PINKNorthumberland County farmer Dan Darling has been elected president of the Ontario Cattlemen's Association for 2012. Darling runs a cow-calf operation and cash crops corn, soybeans and wheat with his brother Van near Castleton. Elected vice-president was Bob Gordanier who operates a cow-calf forage operation with his son, Andrew, near Orangeville in Dufferin. Also elected to the 12-member OCA board were Steve Eby, a feedlot operator in Bruce County, who markets 1,200 head of cattle annually, and Tim Fugard, who runs a cow-calf operation near Petrolia, Lambton County.
