Water management makes 2013 priority lists

On gocorn's website we have 11 companies representing corn seed and even more for soybeans on the gosoy website. While I am not certain if any of these fall under a bigger 'umbrella' company together, I don't think there are many, if any. The NFU is concerned about farmers "losing control" because of policies that give power to a "few large seed companies", but don't seem concerned, judging by their support of single desk systems, about the control that consumers have lost to an old government policy. A policy which transfers over a billion more dollars than necessary from consumers to dairy producers per year. Factor in eggs and chicken and the number gets bigger. Now that's something that should make 2013's priority list. Raube Beuerman, Dublin, ON
