The Temporary Foreign Workers lunch and learn presented in English, Spanish and Tagalog is an excellent opportunity for these workers to be involved in the educational and social event, with translators available to be able to walk the show floor and interact with the exhibitors. The Stratford Agricultural Society is providing our free “Exhibitors Breakfast” both mornings between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. before the doors open for the day at 9:00 a.m. Perth County Pork Producers are preparing and serving the amazing BBQ lunch, free to all attendees and exhibitors with your paid show admission of $20. So, don’t forget to exchange your admission ticket for a lunch ticket when entering the show. The hospitality tent is back again this year and as always will be the place to be. Many discussions, business deals, and friendships have been made at the hospitality tent. You will also be able to purchase the refreshments that you had sampled during the Taste the Best event, while quantities last. We have the Kids Play Zone with face painting, bouncy castle, and corn box for the kids to de-energize and enjoy! New this year is an interactive and fun game to move traffic throughout the show. Each participant will be entered into a Grand Prize draw. A detailed announcement will be coming soon! As always, the OPC is proud to host the OPIC Hog Jog race and family walk/run. The proceeds of this event go to support a different local charity organization each year. With hundreds of thousands raised since 2005, many charities have benefited from the OPIC Hog Jog. After the race OPIC has a catered pork dinner in the arena with an award presentation for the participants. Additional attendee meals are available for a small donation to the Hog Jog.
